Booklet of Pier Paintings
Nina Carroll's elder daughter, Kate Steane, sorted through the family collection of Nina's original paintings in 2020 and selected 32 pier images which are reproduced in this A5 stapled booklet as a celebration of Nina's work and a colourful record of her obsession with piers. The booklet arranges the selection by the various identifiable pier-painting excursions made by Nina (sometimes accompanied by other family members).

Nina supported the work of the National Piers Society from its formation, and copies of the booklet have been donated to the Society to help their promotion of the structures. The Society has accepted the full collection of original Carroll pier paintings and this should ensure their safe survival and enable future displays. No original pier paintings are available for sale.
